T2 Frig Invention Success Rate

I am working under the assumption the formula below is correct:

Invention_Chance = Base_Chance * (1 + (0.01 * Encryption_Skill_Level)) * (1 + ((Datacore_1_Skill_Level + Datacore_2_Skill_Level) * (0.1 / (5 - Meta_Level)))) * Decryptor_Modifier

I believe base chance for a T2 frig is 30%

Based on that information, assuming I have Encryption skill at 4, one datacore at 4, and a 2nd datacore at 5, and no decrptor modifier, I am coming up with 36.82%.

Is that accurate?

If you use the base model frig in the invention process it signifigantly boosts the sucess rate. I have not fail in 5 invention attempts. considering some of the frigs = the cost of 1 data core the sunk cost is worth it.

and i thought the base rate was 40% not 30%

How does that work?
Assume I am trying to invent Ishkurs.

Is the Incursus. as a T1 frig, not considered meta 0?
And I thought meta 0 items had no impact on the invention success rate.

You are quite correct Dinsdale, base T1 M0 items have absolutely no affect on the invention success change. So using a T1 frig is pointless.
