Map control panel disappeared

Opened the map and no control panel. Found it on the new Neocom and changed it from Solar Sytem to the Star map and it just, went away. I have a map screen still, just no control panel for it.

Tried:

  • Clearing all cache files.
  • Logging off and back on.
  • Using ctrl-tab.
  • Right clicking everything on the Neocom.
  • Looked at windows that might have stacked with it such as the Overview.
  • Resetting all default windows positions.
  • Hitting f10 and f11
  • Right clicking around the map.
  • Resetting all Neocom buttons
  • Changing from windowed to full screen.


If you know of something I might be overlooking, don't be afraid to tell me, even if its painfully obvious and makes me look like a fool for not knowing it.

So far though, nothing I tried works or gives indications towards it. I sent in a petition earlier, but I hear that takes weeks.

Had same problem, but then noticed a small triangle above my Items icon, this allowed me to select it. Apparently, if your bar isnt full you will get a new icon for Map Control Panel

When open map control map panel will automatically 'minimize' to the icon on new neocom bar... yes i know this stupid but CCP like to make simple things difficult
