Hey,

I live in 0.0 (sov) with my corporation and we find wormhole on regular basis. Ranges from C1 - C6. Basicly I think it seems boring to let them pass there lifetime unused. I lived in a C3 before but have no fuckin clue about C4 - C6. We did the C3's with mainly DPS Ships and 1 x Dominix with remote Repair or Shield Transfer. Worked pretty well. For the C1 and C2 I guess you dont need a logistik ship at all. So my main question is:

What kind of basic fleet setup I need to do C3 , C4, C5 , C6 (doable without carrier?) ? Most of the pilots can fly BATTLESHIPS and BATTLECRUISER. Not really skilled pilots. How many logistic ships do I need for the different class wormholes? Whats the minimum ship size (class) that can join the fleet (dont want players new into the game directly pop) ?

There are quite a few posts in these forums asking variations of your questions ... not limited to thisgroup. some recent ones about C5 WHs. With a litttle searching you should be able to pull together all those answers. You may find others willing to do it for you, but sorry I don't have the time atm.

class1-solo with a pod
class2-solo with a drake, take tengu for max dps
class3-solo with tengu, or far more advisable 3xRR tengu, also you can do it with 3xRR bs
class4-take 4xRR tengu or 8RR bs
class5-take 5xRR tengu or 10RR bs
class6-take 8xRR tengu or 15RR bs

Oh, and since all the time you give to sleepers to regenerate is a wasted time(faster kill, moar money!) and if you're raiding 'em so u don't mind the number of anomalies it is always best to go with more fleet members just as long as they serve their purpose.

OH, and keep in mind that, while tengu fleet of 20 will jump back and forth many times without any penalty. if you do that with a bs fleet it may fatally collapse on you face so take scanners and watch the Directional!!

YEAH !! I knew training for a Harpy will one day pay off :))

c1-4 are soloable.

Class 4 not many ships can do it but i know a tengu can.

Class 3, a drake can solo sleeper sites, almost like a lvl4 mission but you need to be a little more tankier.
Class 5, spider tank fleet, get like 3-4 guys and spider tank your ships and focus fire.
class 6 carriers. lol

Thank you for all the awesome ideas & feedback. I wonder no one mentioned logistic ships. Does it have any negative side to use logistics? 2-3 basis or scimitars maybe?

Logi's work well and are used by some groups in the higher end WH's, especialy armor fleets.
That said ultimatly it's 2+ pilots not putting out any dps which is making the site take longer than it has to.

I've done C4 with 1 logis, 2 BS, prefer the one with 2 extra high slot. logis required lv5 logis. fit 1 cap transfer and 1 shield transfer into 1 BS and you're good

If anyone here tries running C6s with 15 RR BSs, please Fraps it, will be hilarious...
(seriously, dont run C6 WHs in RR BSs...)

just take a triage carrier with you for all the logi you'll ever need.
rest of the fleet in high DPS, long range BSs.
i'll let you figure out how much tank the BSs need the fun way ;)

I already thought that RR Battleships wont work that well in C6. As the thread title says, this gonna be excursions. So no carriers availible. Got any other recommendations for C6?

you live in null and dont have access to triage carriers?
me thinks you need to find a better corp...

if youre not using a carrier, you want 4 guardians + T3s for a C6, 3 guardians + T3s/BSs for C5s.
or just use RR tengus.
yeah ok, you probably could use BSs in a C6 but they take a god damn pounding.
also, don't bring your uber tanked, triple plated trimarked BSs with resists in the low 60% ranges and expect to live.
the BS fits need to focus on resists over raw buffer.

used to run C6 sites with 3 guards before the neuts were introduced but with the neuts youre going to have serious issues keeping the fleet alive with less than 4 if theyre getting neuted.

TBH, i wouldnt recommend running C6 sites as excursions.
the sites are hard and you need to have a good fleet for them, not just whatever is available + some logi or youre going to end up wiping.
the jump from C5 sites to C6 sites is huge in terms of difficulty, i'd definitely recommend at least starting with C5s.
