Just FYI i do not find the eve community to be a bad one ... i find it highly entertaining and it is what makes me stay in eve the most i believe.Wich also means that at times you wanna drag the guy on the other side of the computer through the screen and put stuff up his rear wich needs surgical removement.

You're taught to stay on your toes here and also take everything with a GOOD pinch of salt.Besides the whine threads in eve are treated as such while in other communities the others join in on the whinethread and we get some sort of hippie community ..screw thatBlink

No I *also* played WoW (and DFO / Istaria / WAR and several others) and for various reasons I also follow some other MMOs forums as well.
Actually I believe WoW's community at the time I played (end of 2004-2006) was better than now but then, it's years I don't check it out.


Only community that is better than EvE is Istaria's. Mostly because of the small numbers and because the average Istaria player is older than the eldest EvE player so they learned the game by now.

But EvE's community is the one that *teaches* the most.

If you can wade thru the piles of excrements, there ARE the gems.

If today I am getting 3 winning RL Forex trades out of 3, it's because I played EvE and found the Klondike.

If I can type here, it's because EvE community taught me how to HTFU, put the whole life in discussion and find new, unthinkable ways to earn a living.
