Alright I was just looking to see anyone's opintion on what supercarriers are the 'best/used most often'. I am sure that the Hel will land in last place as its bonuses are neither for tank or damage output, plus I can't fit a good tank on it in EFT compared to the rest to save my life. Please include reasons as to your opinions.

Also it looks to me on loadouts that almost all supercarriers are buffer tank going for the highest EHP instead of using local reps. Is that because you are relying mostly on carrier support to help keep you alive? Can this be switched around depending on situations?

It's pretty simple.

The local tank (One or two Capital Armor Repairer) is irrelevant when you face hundreds.

However, if you buffer tank it...you have WTFResistances (I'm talking about 92% omni) and a massive buffer. Triage carriers will save you. The sheer amount of reps + the massive resistances will give you an unbreakable tank.

The enemy has to destroy every triage carriers before they can even think about getting through your buffer tanked Supercarrier.

The Hel is one tricky ship.

Here's how to get the max out of it.

Buy a shield tank, a damage control and the required amount of Caldary Navy Power Diags.

Buy shield rigs.

Buy an armor tanking set.

Buy armor rigs.

Fit shield rigs and shield tank, keep your armor modules in your cargohold.

When you're primaried and you're almost reaching armor (10% shields), refit to armor tank.

It's the only supercarrier that CAN be shield tanked THEN armor tanked. I'm pretty sure it's effective. Never flew a Hel before but it looks like a good plan.

Most used Nyx - because their pilots wants to be on killmails as high as possible. Also egoistic bastards (useless at remote capping).
Second most - Aeons. Those egoistic bastards prefer to protect themselfs with additional coat of bonus resistances, which makes them least preferable target in combat.
Wyvern - Not only half egoistic bastards (resustances but can remote cap), but also useless (shield reping).
Hel - Bastards.

Last two counts as additional buffer for proper supers. Twisted

Simple. Next +res or +hp module adds milions of ehp. Meta capital repper reps 10500 per 22,5 sec.

wyvern should be able to dock in stations ,maybe hell too , but the armor tanked ones are too big to fit throu the gates

Naomi, I've had your posts hidden because well you are such a confounded fanboi. But I thought hmm, the topic is supercarriers, not necessarily about Caldari v Minmatar so maybe I'll just check out what Naomi might have to say.

Needless to say I am amazed but also now confused. This post could be a rather clever joke post with a thinly veiled pro-Caldari bite. Or it could be another indication of your warped lack of knowledge and perspective. I'm not sure which. However, I'm hoping it is the former. And in that case I'm formally unhiding your posts. I never flew a Nyx yet, but it is one of my major goals. As far as I tested on EVEHQ about 20 mil EHP should be possible
