Ok there's some issue with the new patch, I need to repair the download but when I try to run the Repair tool it says there's a new version and do I want to update. Yes, I do but it won't let me update the Repair tool to the new one, so I can't fix the new patch, so I can't get ingame.

Looked around for a link to the latest Repair tool couldn't find it. Can someone throw up a link here?

Thanks Dudes o7

Hi,

Open task manager, see if eve.exe ExeFile.exe or the repair.exe is still running. If they are close them. Then attempt to start the repair tool. See if that helps.

Otherwise the link is here: http://cdn1.eveonline.com/client_repair/325/repair.exe

Yeah Same exact thing with me, too.

Gonna just reinstall the whole thing also.

Put downloaded repair.exe in your EVE main folder (same folder with eve.exe and *.stuff files) and then run it.
Try latest version http://cdn1.eveonline.com/client_repair/339/repair.exe
Also if repair fails try to check your UAC and administrative settings (run repair.exe as Administrator)

Repair tool can't save you from crashes if there is bug in current client build. Repair tool only checks your client for consistency.
If you have client crashes - send bug report.

FYI for whoever might want to know - reinstall worked out, can get ingame again.
