Hello everyone i use a hyperion with a collection of faction gear, i have been wondering wether to use tier 2 railguns (which will take me 65+ days, not long in all honesty) as i use the tier 1 railguns with Guardiun charges L, would it be worth training towards those railguns of the second tier and something like null and javelin's or continue-ing towards resistance's and my mining skills?

Much appreciated for honest opinion's and none-hater opinion's thank you :D

Just because i see things in a differant viewpoint does not make me paranoid it makes me a bit obsolete in the majorities views.

1. They are tech 2, not tier.
2. Yes, tech 2 wepaons are worth it.
3. Null is only blaster ammo.
4. Forget about mining skills.

I need new signature.

Tech 2 guns are better than faction and much much cheaper.

Use the faction if you have them already, train tech 2 then sell the faction guns.

Tech 2 weapons are good because...

- They have an additional skill affecting the damage mod ("Advanced Railgun Specialization")
- They can fit 2 additional ammo types (very-close-high-dmg and long-range-ok-damage).
- They are sometimes cheaper than the Meta 4 version (because of the skill barrier) but not always

train them...with null changes Blasters might actually be more effective on battleships. Also opens up doors for the talos for pvp, Mega and hyp for PvE, and vindi for....anything =D

T2 blasters are very very very useful for the increased dps over meta 4's and also the increase of combat options with the availability of t2 ammo. Null gives a significant range boost to blasters now, and Void allows for even more facemelting damage up close. T2 Rails OTOH I have been finding less useful for my playstyle as the tradeoffs between Javelin and Faction antimatter for close range targets is close while sniping with spike I've found only useful in Incursions as it gives a significant dps increase in the 100km+ range compared to carrying other long range ammos, and can provide consistent better than nightmare dps in OTA's at the expense of being near useless in NCO's.

Overall if you had to pick one or the other blasters all the way, and railguns only if you're OCD.
