Hi all

I am going to fanfest (I'm from Australia btw) and will be at the Faction Warfare round table. So CCP had better show up this year!!!

For those that don't know, I started one of the first (maybe even the first) threads complaining about CCP missing the FW round table at the 2011 fan fest, and then blue balling us with promises of make up events/actions that never happened. Along with people like Hans, I have been bumping threads etc... to keep some pressure on CCP. The community pressure was acknowledged by Soundwave in his Crucilble 1.1 dev video.

Fast forwards from March 2011 to now and they have made 2 fixes to FW (plex respawn has been fixed and the loss of sec status bug was (supposedly - haven't heard one way or the other) fixed in the Crucible 1.1 patch. They have also allowed allianecs in. More importantly they have promised more FW love in the coming expansion(s).

I was interested in knowing who else might be going and what things the FW community thinks we should be discussing. Ideally I would like to have a number of issues/an agenda we can present to CCP for discussion/debate that has been presented by the FW community. Not random high sec carebears, CSM reps who want to use us as lab rats for null changes or bitter vets etc... - I mean proper FW membrs who have been in it for the long term, who want the good fights, actually plex and aren't just there for the FW LP and actually care about blowing up people like sassawong, predator elite, flyinghotpocklet (wassup corpie!!!) etc... and would like to see FW means for something.

I except there will be the usual trolls in this thread, but what the hell. The FW threads have been trolled for the last 10+ months and we have started to get some focus from CCP, so I'm not letting that put me off.

Anyway, I'd vote for you or Hans or anyone who could be a viable representative for FW. Though, I imagine you would need a greater platform than just FW in order to garner enough votes to be on the CSM. Good luck!

I think some of the following would be useful to present to CCP are a short paragraph/statement of why people do FW and what they want from it (and therefore why they do not like some of the ideas the CSM has for FW...)

Well, they first forgot us at the last FF, then forgot to deliver blog/wall-o-text describing what their plans are to compensate us and they are now two weeks overdue on the video-/blog they claimed would give us insight.

At this rate we'll still be in the dark come FF so asking (read: beating them to a pulp with a decomposing herring) them what they plan to do for/with FW should be the first question

Three+ years of evasion .. the only person in living memory who have pulled that off besides CCP was Berlusconi .. hahahahaha

Some depth to the clash its self. Millions of empire citizens die in this conflict every day, so can the game act like it?

Is there a way they see to reward us for small scale PvP that's not just giving use a farm able mission/plexing cash cow?

Please for the love of Oden Don't make this like 0.0, no boring sov fights, no crappy politics and propaganda.

Do not give FW some thing to big and stupid that makes large power blocks decide to come and take it a way, this isn't about cash and turf.

Its about combat in all its forms in new Eden from the frigg fleets to the dread drops. PLEASE REMIND THEM OF THIS 3 TIMES MINIMUM. It should be what you say every time they ask you what you any thing. :) Don't let them think/say that how they view it is how it is.

Maybe FW sites could be more like Incursion sites? Instead of constellation wide incursion, persistent 'incursion' styled events at individual solar systems.

people get lp paid if the system goes back into the control of your side and the enemy gets penalty to armor and damage etc.

Could be interesting and since the mechanics for incursions already exists why not use it?
