Not podding you and making you fly home at handicap speed is nastier than giving you the quick way out.

Yep.

Pods pose less than no threat, as we'd rather make you fly all the way back then save you the trip.

Those who cannot keep up will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

Al tho i agree with you that is one of the most shameful thing you can do to a person.... I remember in my career just siting on ts and listening to people screaming on how the pod manege to escape.... so this only reinforces the fact EvE is not a game for all people that loog in.

Well if Bangerlogs were still living there, you'd might have been podded but we kicked them out a long time ago. Seriously, you picked UJY. No one bothers to do anything there.

I can understand that sentiment some times.

Hell, we had a retriever tackled in Delve once for 45 minutes while people clone jumped up from empire to get on the killmail.

Ah... memories.

Let me explain this to you in RL terms:

You went to the deepest arse end of nowhere in the middle of Alaska and set off a petard. Now you claim the US government doesn't care about terrorist bombings.

Quick question you guys.

I can confirm that 0.0 is very empty in a lot of places. I use wormholes to find those places and I won't see anybody else for days at a time, even a week on two expeditions.

But I use a Cyclone fit for the task. Poorly fit, I must add.

Rarely have I been hunted successfully, but I have been hunted but more for causing bots to dock up than anything else, smacktalk in Russian sold seperately.

My question:

If a noob or lone wolf in the middle of nowhere with a pod or cruiser/BC or whatever is not a big deal and would not garner much attention, what would happen if said pilot was flying a cyno-capable SB?

Does the ship type matter then?

I am not planning of sneaking about in an SB (crappy exploration ships - not enough slots for all that stuff) but I would expect that what a person is flying would certainly make a difference.

This is how you sound right now, OP. Just a heads up.

And? Don't you realise that spiteful troll comments like that just make you look pathetic?

Single targets are usually ignored if they don't get caught at a gate camp, til they demonstrate enough of a threat to make it worth the effort of hunting them down(usually by killing ratters/doing hotdrops).

Do you realize how hard it is to find someone who safed up, cloaked, and went afk?

0.0 is not safe, tho deep in blue territory is relatively safer because of the odds of someone getting caught in a random gate camp on the way there. We all know this, and behave accordingly(get safe if a hostile comes in til ID'd or you decide they are afk cloaking) and if someone is a problem, camps start going up, and bait starts coming out of hangars.

Had a WN. gate camp in deklein for at least a day and a half what no one bothered to clear... to much effort Lol

If you are no threat to sov, the only people who will react to you are the ones you annoy. If you are a threat to sov, expect a fleet t be waiting when the RF timer expires waiting to defend.

I wasn't trolling, just trying to protect your integrity. By the way, that's quite the opposite of that word you're using "spiteful".

Wouldn't you rather antagonize the alliance that takes it's attention and resources from other fronts to kill a pod flying in a backwater system than the alliance that ignores such small fry?

I personally love making people fly around in pods after blowing up their shoo mostly because of two reasons. Reason one, they no longer pose a threat to my alliance as long as they're in that pod and stuck. Reason two, because if we simply leave them in a pod, the only way out of my space is to pod themself. Infinitely more funny if you ask me. With me killing them, they can at least blame me. If they have to pod themselves though, they have only themselves to blame.

a lot of people ignore pods as they are looking better targets. Try flying through 0.0 at peak US/EU time-zones in a carrier and see if you get ignored. P

Also, you may have just gotten lucky and flown through empty systems. We fly through empty systems all the time looking for fights
