Mission lvl4 in 1.0 or 0.5

I'm currently doing lvl4 mission in a 1.0 system and I've been wondering if it would be worth it to go 14 jumps away from my ''home'' to do lvl4 in a 0.5 system. We are still talking about highsec here. Are the rewards from an agent in a 0.5 system substantially greater than the ones from an agent located in a 1.0 system?

Thanx for any answers in that regard.

Your going to get alot of missions that go in to Lowsec though. So if you feel comfortable doing that then go for it.

yeah.....no

look for a 0.5 with a nice agent that has no lowsec in its constellation (and within 2-3 jumps)
then you're golden

Its exactly what I found but I was wondering if it was worth the trouble of traveling 14 jumps from my home regularly just to do missions there. I don't think it worth my time and trouble for lets say a 5% increase but I guess its more than that, seeing your responses.

Thank you for your help!

LP will go up somewhere in the 1500 to 2500 range and isk on a big mission generally are close to 2 million payout and 2 million bonus give or take a couple 100k.

Or else put a jumpclone and a ship there.

Nadine and Spineker are right.

Also look at agents in .6. Agents in .5 that are not next to low sec exist, but few and far between. It is usually easier to find agent in .6.

14 jumps away is not that far. Fit your mission shipt for speed when hopping systems and swap to mission modules when you are doing missions. Makes you more mobile and able to do different kind of missions for other factions.

I am doing missions in Amarr and Minmatar - I have a mission ship in the systems I run and when I need to hop between them I just hop in shuttle and autopilot to other system 25 jumps away.

Payout, Bounties, and LP are the SAME no matter which level of system the agent is in.

Just DECLINE the Low Sec Missions, and have other agents for the same Corp activated as well so that you can continue in the odd chance 2 Low Sec's in a row present themselves.

Simply wait 4 hours after declining before declining another for SAME AGENT.

Forget the other Dramatics posted here.

Also, wait until you have a full 16 missions behind you BEFORE activating a new agent with same Corp. and get at least one Storyline mission or the '16 missions 'till Storyline' Counter will reset itself to zero. :(

Found those facts out the hard way, and with a Petition.

Your 'information' makes you look like such a tool.

I'd suggest actually having a clue before imparting such 'wisdom' on these fora.

To OP: it depends of course which faction you're missioning for, but Torrinos (Home Guard/Navy), Scheenins (Roden), Ignebaneer (Federal Intelligence Office), and Arraron (Astral Mining - Combat) are some interesting possibilities, some of which are off the beaten track and have good LP stores.

one of the agents listed here might be good

http://www.eve-search.com/thread/1516083-0/page/1

unless things have changed recently, they shouldnt send you to low sec, but are still located in 0.5 sec space.
but they are generally quite popular agents, and pirates looking for shiny ships sometimes like to hang around.

Unless things were changed when the agent quality was removed (and I don't believe it was) ...

Mission payout and LP are dependent on the security level of the system containing the agent giving the mission. Bounties on the other hand are only dependent on the specific mission and faction and as far as I know do not change depending on security level.

There are substantial differences in LP payout between a 1.0 security and a 0.5 security system. Keep in mind that these rewards are affected by the related connections skill (e.g. security connections) which can increase the LP payout by up to 50%.

As for "home" bases ... I would recommend training infomorph psychology to 4 ... then joining a jump clone creation corp like Estel Arador Corporate Services (just for a day) ... create 4 jump clones .. then move them around to wherever you like to play. This makes things easy and much more flexible.

Finally, choice of where to run missions is related to the mission rewards and convenience of a trade hub to unload loot and/or salvage assuming you don't blitz the missions solely for LP and bounties.

Good luck!

Each 0.1 difference in system security rate down from a 1.0 system will give a 10% increase in rewards. That amount can be further increased by the level of Social skills trained as well as increased Agent Effective Quality.
