Ship Names Were Too Confusing

So now they're going to be called by what they do. The naming convention rules begin with the racial type so you know what type of guns it uses and what general characteristics it has. Then we can break them down by what size they are. Here are some of the new frigate names.

The Rifter is now called Minmatar Pew Pew Pew.
The Bantam is now called Caldari Lolminer.
The Condor is now called Caldari Generic Interceptor.
The Griffin is now Caldari Abstract Art Contest Winner.
The Heron is now Caldari Probe.
The Kestrel is now Caldari Missile Platform, Frigate-Size.
The Tristan is now called Gallente Whoopsie.
The Probe is now called Minmatar Probe
The Rifter is now called Minmatar PEW PEW PEW
The Slasher is now called Minmatar Engine Experiment, Awry.
The Vigil is now called Minmatar Vertical Frigate.
The Drake is now called Caldari Missile Platform, Battlecruiser-Size.
The Raven is now called Caldari Missile Platform, Battleship-Size.
The Chimera is now called Caldari Phallus of Dominance.
The Apocalypse is now called Amarr Laser Platform I.
The Armageddon is now called Amarr Laser Platform II.
The Abaddon is now called Amarr Laser Platform III.
The Avatar is now called Amarr Phallus of Dominance.
The Hyperion is now called Gallente Phallus of Dominance.
The Ragnarok is now called Minmatar Phallus of Dominance.

These are just a few of the new ship names being implemented in the near future. As you can see, they easily add to the sci-fi theme that Eve Online has while maintaining ship diversity and ease of discernment among the varying types. In additi--I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry. The name changes were awful. Now all my missiles are sorted by damage type and not by size and use. My prop mods are simply named new, generic engines. Thanks for a wonderful update that totally adds to the game. This will surely bring in those hordes of subscribers Hilmar desperately needs.

Give us back our missile and prop mod names, thanks in advance.

Please tell me you're joking :( are these same morons wanting this the same who proposed the Nex Store? Or have CSM taken over the development process all of a sudden because this is what I'd expect players to come up with.

Only ship that deserves a name is a Ferox, everything else can be named Not-a-Ferox n, starting in alphabetical order.

I support this list. lets change player owned structure to piece of **** too while we're doing all these changes. it's more accurate and less confusing.

That's too confusing for me - I associate the sound 'pew pew pew' with lasers - I suggest it's called 'Minmatar T1 frigate' and renaming the others 'useless Minmatar T1 frigate 1-5'.

And if you didn't do it on purpose, no, they'll most likely not change to names of the ships until too many WOWboys scream that they don't understand the game.

If you knew anything about Titans you'd know that the Ragnarok doesn't dominate anything.
