Narwhals dropped roughly 20 ships on my corps little group of worm-holers, and it was no small loss for us. I cannot thank you guys enough for pointing out just how stupid and complacent we had become.

Being a (very) little group of worm-holers myself I don't think I like this post.

What happened Benf? Had someone contracted then to bump you out of your system, or was hassling you just a recreational pursuit for them?

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Without giving out too much info and potentially pissing off my corp mates; We think it was a random roam given the Narwhal fleet makeup, the situation at the time, and events following the... uh... getting out asses kicked part. Given that we just reshipped and went back to doing what we had been doing after a bit and there was no trouble.

Ships are cheap, being shown that you have gotten lazy and are acting foolishly in a way you are not likely to forget; that is priceless.

Absolutely!

My most tear-filled ship loss was my maiden-flight loki in w-space. Busy chatting in corp while clearing some anoms ... and not attending to DS or deep space probe. There had to be enough warning if I just hadn't been complacent. Those expensive and humiliating lessons to tend to make the learning stick better tho.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

I like how that Battle Report has Winter's Eve's bubble listed for the Narwhals side. Let that be a lesson kids, bubbles aren't your friend in w-space unless you know what you're doing with them.
