I'm getting this exact error.

EDIT: Re-read the thread and found out what I was missing. I had an EveFile.exe already running. I ended the process and ran the repair. All is well again! Thank you!

These sound like different issues then the Verification Error, could you guys run Logserver.exe and either send me the entire log or just check or error messages and post them here?

I have something similar, except after I enter my user info the client just freezes and never starts again, if anyone could help that would be great.

Might want to try get rid of Avast. It has many reported incompatibilities - it breaking patcher/EVE wouldn't be the first... Roll

Still getting the repair tool error.

I'm connecting from Scotland and Brittish Telecom (BT) is my ISP.

I'd just bite the bullet and grab a fresh client instead. Shouldn't take long, especially if your on a BT Infinity connection. Delete the old folders and install a fresh copy. Worked for me.

Deleted old folders, downloaded and installed fresh client no luck, no go...

But I haven't as yet looked for EXEFile.exe. I'll try later when I get back on my machine...

Here you can find the entire Microsoft Support Article about this but the important bit is:

Can you delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin and all its content manually and run the repair tool again?
