Chat windows:

-most people have many, expecialy the 0.0 ppl (need alliance, corp, intel, recr ect (i have 9).

-with the new neocom you can only see the whole group blinkin instead of on the old way individual channels when minimized,

Its fail, who ever desighnd this, doesnt play this game. Pls bring back this option...

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?

Eh? I can see the individual blinking channel just fine

Even minimized ones

What I love is the fact that the new channel list shows the full name of the channel and how many people are in it cause often times the many tabs of a chat window only show you a short front end of the name with almost no hope of ever seeing the number of ppl.

+1 to new neocom for that

The blinking thing has been annoying to pretty much everyone but I figure I'll leave my link on and will get used to it just as much as the old blink would be for me when i have minimized windows.

+1 also for showing me WHICH channel is active. Before I'd have half a dozen channels, minimized to a single item. This single item would flash if any of those channels had a message and I'd have to open it to see which one. Now I can open the channel list, see which one is blinking, and decide if I wanna un-minimize the group to read it :P

One gripe I have atm is that I'd like for the channel list drop down to close itself when i select a channel

Old system was perhaps better for 1 reason, people have been playing the game for years and can press the button they want in their sleep. From my personal experience, there wasnt anything wrong with it before, id prefer if they spent all the time working on this on the % of nuts content in squirrel crap.

Spreading out & minimalizing to bottom allowed me to seperate which stacks of chat were blinking... this new minimalize to sidebar screws me all up. now its 1 single blink unless I go thru multiple steps which slows me down in a fleet & can kill me. FCing job has become that much tougher in fleets

I miss the words, but I'll get used to it.

My only real 'wtf' issue is why the Fleet option is buried in the social menu by default.

On the plus side I can put the Log back on the Neocom like it used to be way back when :D

arg after I listened to the the remove the Chat ICON advice now the minimalize makes the chats dissapear into not even the NEOCOM but the CNTRL-TAB

I deleted my chat button, I created a new group, dragged and dropped the chat button into that then deleted the group, chat button was no more.

For the sake of god please make it so that minimised windows have no relationship with the neocom. This is worst with chat windows but is an annoyance with other windows in general.

Make windows minimise to the bottom of the screen like they used to.

For example;
Neocom auto hide. Chat windows minimized. There is NO WAY AT ALL to see a flash to tell you that there is a message. Even if its not auto-hiden, there is no way to currently tell WHICH window is flashing from a minimized chat window.

Whoever devised this method of operation, however trivial it may seem to you, has no place in eve development. If you cant get the trivial things correct i wouldnt want them working on anything even more game-breaking.

For example, people going gcc in local doesnt update in real time. Often minimizing local and restoring it is a quick way to see if people have gone, or have lost their gcc. Now i have to fumble around is a sub menu to maximize local. Its absolutely pathetic. I complained about this in test server feedback, you did it anyway.
Adding extra mouseclicks to an already fail interface is NOT AN IMPROVEMENT, no matter how much nicer it looks. And it doesnt really look any nicer btw so wtf.
