Let's begin with something nice,
I like the forums, sometimes more, many times I wish I didn't open them at all.

Anyway, everytime you write long texts or have a long response to a threat the session timer makes your long texts dissapear and you rage-yell at your screen and your next text will not be as nice or helpful as it was intended to be.
One solution would be to just increase the session timeout on the server side and on the client side (the browser thingy you need to interact with the forums) to always use the following keys after writing texts,

CTRL+A (mark all, Windows and Linux)
CTRL+C (copy, Windows, Linux, Mac)
CTRL+V (paste when the forums eat your post again; Windows, Linux and Mac)

in that order.

Yeah, that sux. I make it a point to always copy the text before posting.

I noticed when browsing the forums and reading various threads, the 'Back to Top' button is located on the left side of the page. Talk about not being user friendly. The 'Reply', 'Post', 'Preview', etc buttons are all on the right side, along with the forum 'Jump' option. It seems I tend to keep my mouse on the right side of the screen due to the majority of option buttons are located on the right side.

Would be nice to have an option to relocate the 'Back To Top' button over to the right side of the screen.

Just consider this a second chance you get not to fail.
You should use the time it takes to write your text again to meditate over the quality of your post.
Is it really that meaningful?
Is it really that witty?
Is this really something you wish to share with the world?
Quite often I find myself deleting the text I typed the second time, because my answers are "no".

Just this time it did not work...well, ...crap....
