patch not patching ?

so im dwnlding the patch and get to the installing bit of it and its just sitting there at 0% for the last 30 minutes ....

Are you sure you are downloading the patch? The log you've posted looks like you are running the installer?

yeah patch just sat there forever and didnt do anything.
i uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall the whole thing but it still does nothing

i dont see it being an issue with my hardware seeing as i was online rite before downtime

Simplest work around for this is to get the fallback installer (please use a proper download manager the files are quite big) to install the game.

If you have 7zip you can even just extract the two .7z archives into a folder (some files are double for security reasons just say yes if it asks about overwriting) and skip the installer all together.
