Hello Wormholers!

The first CSM summit for CSM XII is being held August 21st - 24th, and I will be attending. This year with Team Five-0 finally coming to the end of the Structures roadmap (minus a few things like Jump Bridges and Cyno Jammers), I think we have the best shot at getting our needs and wants to the Team's attention and possibly getting some direct WH changes. A lot of you feel like W-space has been neglected over the past year. To some extent I agree with you. But we have seen all kinds of things added to Eve that affect us.

Here's a little list if you've forgotten:

  • Contracts in citadels, insurance, repair, alliance logos, loot drop fixes
  • Capital rebalance
  • Rorqual and mining barge overhaul
  • Engineering complexes
  • Alphas
  • Fleet boost redesign
  • Scanning interface redesign
  • Mobile warp disruptor killmails/lifetime
  • T3 cruiser rebalance
  • Scanning results saved over changing wormholes (coming soon)


And a few other things. But I understand there hasn't been something tailored just for us, like when they changed the effects of the wormholes or more PVE changes or Mining anom changes or something done about the combat site lifetime. Over the past year those things just haven't been in the cards.

But I'm hopeful we can get changes made for us in the coming year. Something something NDA.

Format: Town Hall Style - Whoever has the TS details is welcome to come. Last two times we didn't have any issues with people taking turns speaking. Let's please have a smooth meeting again!

  • Quick recap of last years CSM term
  • Tech 3 Cruisers - How have they affected wormholes? Yes PvE and PvP will be talked about here but let's focus on only T3s
  • Scanning - New changes and are there still some issues with the UI?
  • PvE - Yes we want site respawn lifetime! and we still want Ore anom changes! But any new ideas?
  • PvP - Fax still oppressive, what else?
  • Structures - Bugs? Yes we want moon mining! Feature request?
  • PUBG - Why is it such a good game? /s

Let me lobby for:

  1. Include wormholes in the economics reports. They're conspicuously absent.
  2. Allow moon mining in wormholes when the new industrial citadels come online.
  3. Corp bookmarks need to show up for corp mates on the next server tick, not 10 minutes later.
  4. Sharing bookmarks between characters/corps is clunky and a pain. Alliances should have a bookmark folder too.


I'll try to join the call on Saturday, but if I screw up the time or get kidnapped by aliens, I'd appreciate it if someone could bring up the above topics.

1. Allowing moon mining in wormhole space could significantly impact on materials price,how about only ore/ice minable from moons in wormhole space?
2. Alliance bookmarks would make evrything easier to manage,especially for big corporations
3. make ore anomalies lifetime longer so smaller corporations can mine entire site before so short time expires site.
4. make wormhole ore/gas mining great again,ore anomalies should be scannable and have bit more asteroids
5. combat anomalies lifetime should be up to 5 - 10 days not more
6. frigate wormholes,they are mostly useless and takes forever to collapse them.reduce their spawn chance but extend their lifetime to 24 hours.
7.make bookmarks with expire timer,once the time runs out bookmark delete itself.
8. how about getting an trash bin? right now when you accidently trash items sush ships (example rorquals) you can get them back by petition system,when trash bin is in place all deleted assets go to trash bin first once you empty trash bin you cant recover.
9. shared scan results with fleet members *WANT*
10. another wormhole class that would be toughter than class 6 but not implement another drifter swarm maybe capital escalation should return but in changed shape.
11. citadels and engineer complexes for shattered wormholes (only medium structures so astrahus/raitaru)
12. how about creating other type of wormhole space,with mixed dangerous enviroment ;ets say class 7 wormhole (roaming sleeper fleets but not drifters,sleepers with ability to engage structures)

* make signature type (wh, relic, data etc..) identify themselves at 10% scan instead of 25% making it easier to find the type of content you want but still require skills to scan down to 100%
* how about reviewing the "randomness" of statics ? after 4 years in wh i am confident that for exemple NS statics have a way higher chance of spawning in the same regions over and over again rather than in a totally random way. i believe this is biased and maybe a reshuffle could be good
* make anom distances towards one another in the probe window refresh themselves uppon landing in an anom (improves hunting)
* fix Wh that collapse behind you when jumping through even though they are brand new
* make PVE rewardable again (you know what im talking about noobman)
* make sigs & anoms appear quickly than 45min after DT (wtf?!)

scanning isnt hard, it doesnt take long and it should absolutely under no circumstances be made even easier.

while on the topic; the new scanning tool still sucks but that isnt likely to change any time ever so i guess ill have to live with it :(

I don't think that the risk verses reward is balanced in Eve anymore. If WH space is suppose to be the most difficult then the rewards should be better, especially on the ore anomaly front. One could argue that high sec has become the most dangerous area in Eve...

Alliance bookmarks -way overdue.

I like the graphics updates that have been made to the game -keep them coming! There was a nebula upgrade for K space a while back that really made the game look great, but as it stands W space is starting to look "dated". Would like to see a "nebula overhaul" for W space.

The evil in me wants a "delayed local module" -a deployal device that once anchored would prevent anyone from showing up in local chat. Works only in null and low sec space. Is visible on D scan but would have to be scanned down in order to find and destroy it. Limited activation time, say 5 minutes, after which the module self destructs.


Sandbox: An enclosed area filled with sand for children engaged in open-ended, unstructured, imaginative play. Also a place for cats to urinate and defecate...
