Is the main website going to be updated so the menu > forum link actually goes to the new forums?...

Yes, these forums will become 'Archived' and the new forums will replace them.

It's a sad state of affair to hear so many of you won't be posting in the new forums.

Most of you have been members of this community for as long as I have and have been very helpful in contributing info and useful knowledge whenever it was requested. Your contribution as an active member of this Eve Online Community will surely be missed.

I guess this is indeed the bitter end.

I do not think it is the end. And I am sure all your current forum mates WILL post in new forums, cause this one will be closed "after today's downtime"
