It's depressing watching old visions of the future from the 50s to the 80s, they thought they'd live in a world with flying cars, space colonisation, and end to disease, futuristic governments and cool robots. Instead we live in a world where everyone's offended about everything and stuck to their smartphones + Islam

I used to see those magazines at the drug store when I was a small kid. That art on the covers was literally weird. Bizarre concepts, and the kind of cheap, hasty execution of the painting made them even weirder. They could kind of put you into process. SF films back then were weird too, but I guess they didn't have the tech to be able to recreate much of the weird stuff in Galaxy. Cinema could do it now, though....
