Out of Game Events and Gatherings

This year the 75th World Science Fiction Convention will be held in Helsinki, Finland, Messukeskus, from the 9th – 13 August, 2017. The convention happens once per year somewhere in the world. It is a convention run by fans, for fans, with the intent to financially break even. The convention maintains a policy of zero corporate sponsorship of all forms.

Well, what does this have to do with EVE? As part of the thousands of event items that cover anything and everything relating to science and science fiction there are fan meetups.

A call went out to the attending members for those who want to host a fan meetup of the thing they are into. I stupidly stuck my hand up and said “yes and EVE”… :/

This will be a meetup, no Devs (unless they want to attend the con as a paid up member), no presentations, no prize giveaway, just chat and if we can find a bar, we prop it up. This is open to all EVE players and those who want to know more. This event will last for a couple of hours.

To attend this meetup you will need to be a paid up member of the Con.
