I do not see a chain discussing the specific ships that work for the Agency event.

When it says "Battlecruisers", while a Drake is fine it does not include Combat Battlecruisers. So a Nighthawk (Combat Battlecruiser) will not trigger the credits as a "Battlecruiser".

Having fun with The Agency, just wish the rewards were not an insulting joke.

The Nighthawk isn't a combat battlecruiser though, it's a command ship. I've done the tasks successfully in a Myrmidon, which is a combat battlecruiser - the same as Drake.
