Does anyone actually use armor Loki now? It sucks.

Does anyone even use armor Loki now that they've screwed up the slot layouts? The most lo slots I can get with a web range armor Loki is 5 slots. This is just not enough lo slots for this ship as an armor tank. The only way to get more than 5 lo slots is to drop the immobility drivers core sub and take the augmented nuclear reactor instead.

That means you can't have an armor loki with more than 5 lo slots and have the web range bonus. Meanwhile a shield loki can have 7 mids and the web range bonus.

O, how about this, just stop playing the game, which sure looks like an option many many people have done in the past years as CCP screws their entire playerbase, excepting their precious null sec cartels.

i used an armor (sic) loki this evening.
first i asked the ship to "unlock" one bottle of pinot noir.
success!
all involved rejoiced.

later, i undocked again and asked the loki.
"loki, do you have it in you to unlock one more bottle of pinot noir with your fine armor (sic)?".
the loki paused momentarily, slightly unsure.
then... unlock... success!
more rejoicing from all parties.

so yes, sir.
i have enjoyed the armor (sic) loki and shed not a single tear.
you should try to be more like me.
you can be a cool kid too.

the proteus was unable to open the pinot noir, even though it was only a screw top.
however, there was a definite degree of confidence from the ship that there would be no issue with a ring pull on a real ale or perhaps a strong lager.

What a shame, seems only the trolls are left posting replies in this forum.

To the OP, it seems CCP only knows how to nerf things in the name of balance. As for an Armor Loki, I personally don't think that's a good choice for the Loki. I do a shield fit and use the low slots to beef up DPS along with adding a bit more resistance with a Damage Control mod or a Power Diagnostic System mod to beef up the base stats of shield, cap, etc.

Obviously due to the recent sub changes I'm still trying to get a good fit back again like I use to have with a Large Shield Booster, dual Booster Amps, dual Invul Field mods with an AB. Seems the whole point of the changes is to stop players fitting T3's with Large defensive tank mod's.

Anyway, I hope you find an answer to your question, I'm definitely going to keep trying to get my Loki back to how it use to be, an active shield tanked cap stable gun boat.

CCP caved in to null sec complaining how armor web loki(without any guns on it btw) is annoyance and CCP did only thing there is...and that is destroy ANY and ALL other pilots fits that used ship fully fitted and for non cesspit blob warfare.

Yes, but remember, the armour Loki WAS a great fit for low sec exploration work.
For an extended time, I took it out every day in a low sec corridor for a jaunt, that started going through a couple systems littered with pirates.

That is no more. My toy has not been out since I realized the enormous loss of utility and efficiency with this new config. My play time is now reduced to logging on in Jita once or twice a week to sell assets.

I logged in just to see changes - saw all dozen or whatever of my existing fitted tech 3s were screwed to all **** and logged back out again. I'd managed to pretty much erase the game from my mind the last few months until the recent email about the agency thing - with a bit more work especially tying it into corporation growth where individual players could do stuff like that to "level up" their corporation's abilities i.e. corporation industry bonuses or whatever it would have been a nice addition to the game.

Yes shield loki can be fit quite nicely for good tank and good dps and have the uber webs too. Armor loki with uber webs can get medicore tank and poor dps or good dps and no tank at all.

Definetly not, since it rains ISK from heavens in null and everyone multi boxes on plex, its actually none of their money at all, its YOUR money twice over. I do wish that people that actually do pay would be counted a bit more then those that don't. It would go a long ways to rectify this situation.
