The Forgotten Protocol is a corporation within the Intrepid Crossing [IRC] alliance, inhabiting the drone lands since the days of old. We focus on training new players and giving a home, as well as the opportunity to teach, to experienced ones.

SMTP is a null sec based corporation residing in the depths of the drone regions, forgotten by NPC and player empires alike. Working together with our alliance mates, and long standing allies to carve out a place for ourselves. Whether in empire building, or home defense.

I'm a new player, why SMTP?

SMTP is a member of the IRC alliance, a long-standing group with a tried and tested past. We pride ourselves on our core of experienced players who are willing to impart their knowledge onto the new generation of EvE players. Our culture is laid back one - providing a place for pilots to relax, grow and learn. Mistakes are seen as a part of life, as long as knowledge is gained from them.

Please remember:

We live in null sec, this means other players can, and will - try to kill you.
We don't live in a mission pocket, money is earned via exploration or 'ratting'.
Whilst we strive to involve everyone, there will be downtime for you to do your own thing, make sure you're equipped to operate solo as well as part of a group.
We expect new players to learn, both from other members and their mistakes. Doing something dumb once is fine, doing it multiple times is not.

I'm an experienced player, why SMTP?

SMTP is located alongside the IRC alliance in the Etherium Reach region of Drone lands, with access to high-end PvE and PvP content. What we offer includes, but is not limited to -

I've heard the drone lands are X, can you confirm or deny?

The drone lands have a strange reputation - Hard to reach, poor ratting, full of Russians - Take your pick of rumors and chances are someone has said it about the drone lands at some point.

Whilst it is true that the drone lands are further from Empire space than other regions, this worrisome concern is mitigated by the well-established alliance level logistics. Poor ratting is a matter of preference, whilst the rats do deal Omani damage meaning tanking is harder, their income isn't reliant on loot (they don't drop any) reducing the need for you to loot your sites to feel that you're utilizing the space efficiently. As for the Russians, whilst they're certainly here, the drone lands present a diverse community of renters and sov holders side-by-side coming from all walks of life and nationalities.
