Who Are You?

Are you curious about Null-Sec play in Eve? Do you hunger for the sweet, sweet taste of Arkanor and Mercoxit? Ever wanted to build capital ships? Want to combat Battleships and Dreadnoughts in asteroid belts? Not sure how to move from Hi-Sec into the untamed wilderness? Worried about getting lost in a giant Corp with a huge set of demands and expectations?

We're looking for new members who align with our Mission, interests and values:

Adult - We're largely 35+ adults who enjoy the complexity of the game, and building dreams, not destroying them;
Mature - 'Harvesting Tears', ePeen, smacktalk, Piracy, abuse, racism/sexism/homophobia are never tolerated;
Collaborative - We help each other and our allies to grow, build, learn, and (since it's Eve) survive;
Fun - We see Eve as a game, a distraction, an amusement and entertainment, not a job or obligation;
Ambitious - We've got a plan - big plans - and need help to advance our agenda of galactic domination;
Trustworthy - Be reliable, be consistent, be kind, be generous, be the kind of human you wish there were more of;
Established - Capsuleers with 20m+ skill points (about a year's worth of play);
Compatible - Industrialist (mining/manufacturing/research/invention) or Combat (to protect the rest of us!);

We're particularly looking for Mining Directors, Jump Freight capable pilots, and a seasoned Fleet Commander or two to build our Corp's Combat Air Patrol and Advance Scout Wings.

Who Are We?

We're an adult, low-stress industrial Corp newly based in a -.9 Security System looking for new Members who are interested in mining, building, markets and camaraderie. We're small, but well-established (3+ years) in an excellent location in NPC Null-Sec (an area of the galaxy that can't be conquered by large Alliances). No expectations or requirements for game play - we're real people with real lives and won't pressure anyone to be online or logged in.

We offer a variety of infrastructure, support and benefits:

Established - Access to/good standings with local neighbours in the system and constellation;
Supported - Docking rights at five structures in-system (including Capitals), Cloning, Manufacturing, and Reprocessing locally;
Resourced - Seven asteroid belts, and an ice-belt in-system (including Arkanor, Bistot, Crokite and Mercoxit);
Inaccessible - Quiet 'Dead End' system, out-of-the-way with no strategic value to larger Corps/Alliances;
Accessible - 'Jump Bridge' of Corp structures (with tethering for safety) from Amarr Trade Hub;
Serviced - Local shipping destination Structure with an excellent, fast, neutral, commercial shipping Corp;
Serious - Rorqual, Dreadnaught, Orca and other key industrial resources 'in-house' and available;

We're currently building a Tech I Industrial and Combat ship replacement programme, expanding our 'Jump Bridge' network to Jita as well, and building the resource base to eventually launch and protect our larger Engineering Complexes.

We're primarily active in the European timezones, English-speaking but friendly to non-native speakers, and actively want players who are new to null-sec (as we were!)

FAQ - Why do you require 20m+ skill points? Aren't you friendly to new/Alpha players?

It's an issue of survivability, unfortunately. As an example, typical rats in -.9 system belts are Cruisers at a minimum, most commonly Battleships and once every two days'ish, Dreadnoughts (or bigger). You really need to be able to fit Tech 2 modules, and have skilled up in Astrometrics, Engineering and Navigation to avoid being one-shot'ted or webbed in place with no opportunity to escape an overwhelming force. Also, being able to fly Tech 2 Mining Barges (Exhumers) and some of the other more specialised ships is also a practical benefit, both personally and to the Corp.

We're very friendly folks, and are specifically looking for players who've never ventured into Null-sec - we just want you to have a fighting chance to succeed when you get there!

FAQ - So isn't Null-Sec treacherous and mean and everyone/thing is trying to kill you all the time?

Surprisingly, not that much more than Hi-Sec. The rats in belts are bigger and meaner, and there's no Concord to come save you from a Capsuleer aggressor, but at least in our corner of the galaxy, the neighbours are nice, and it's far enough out of the way that an aggressor REALLY needs to make an effort to get to the system.

During peak EU hours (Eve Time evenings), generally there's one 'visitor' a night who's possibly a threat, but a regional intel channel gives us notice before they arrive, and watching local allows for a quick retreat to one of the five Structures to either stay safe, or switch to a PvP hunting ship.

To be fair, getting TO us does mean an initial trek from Hi-Sec (train an Interceptor), but once you're local, then our in-Corp 'jump bridge' and some well-placed clones mean that you're rarely at risk moving long distances.

FAQ - Sounds good in principle but what's going to be expected of me?

Short Version - Show up online when you can, and when you do, join in Corp and local activities occasionally, and help each other out.

Slightly Longer Version - We're not a new Corp, and we're very well resourced and established operationally (Fleet Support ships, High-Sec to Null-Sec jump points/Structures, offices, access to multiple local Structures, 40B+ Blueprint library), but until now it's been a small group of players. Having finally found our ideal system (see above), we're looking for a few more mature, real-life-first members to join us and enjoy it. We'd expect people to be online fairly regularly (twice a week'ish?) generally in the EU timezones, interact with everyone else in whatever way they're most comfortable, and contribute to the good of the Corp and System. Other than that, just have fun!

FAQ - So aside from the basics, a good sense humour and helpful, anything in particular that you're looking for in a pilot?

While we're not a new Corp, this is the first time that we're adding members to the original three that have been running it together for the past few years, so we're looking for someone who's also interested in (or at least patient with) building up to about 20 members over time.

Otherwise, bonus points for having and being able to pilot a Jump Freighter, Orca or Porpoise (we've got our own Rorqual as well in system already), good skills in Mining, Refining and Industry, and experience with PI (to help with fuel blocks).

Finally, while we're not a PvP Corp, we ARE looking for a few people with good combat skills and experience to help protect our mining operations, scouting, freight escort, and support with ratting.

FAQ - So what kind of ISK can I make in your part of Null-sec?

Short answer - Depends on what you like to do, and how much time/effort that you put into it!

Longer answer - The system/area that we're in is one of the richest in the game, resource-wise. There are 5+ asteroid belts, with significant volumes of Arkanor, Bistot, Crokite, and Mercoxit - the most valuable ore in the game. We've also got a local ice belt, with the rarest ice products readily available. Ratting tends to be Battleships and Battlecruisers, with bounties of 500-1.25m ISK each, which adds up, and the occasional Dreadnaught is worth 50m ISK all by itself. Finally, there are a wide variety of complexes, which (we're told) are lucrative as well.

Hi,

Been out the game for a bit, been playing since 2006 although not as much last 12 - 16 months.

Looking to get back into the game over Winter (Im Aus based).

My skills below :

http://eveboard.com/pilot/Panzer_General

Pvp'd a lot on my old character which I sold and can give you details of him no problems. Not done it on this character at all but sure I could do something of use.

If keen, convo me when in game.

Cheers
