I was pleasantly surprised to find a 14mil faction module in one of the team burner ships (the completion trigger() I faced last night.

I've done about 100 team burners so far, so I was just curious if you would view this as good, typical, or unlucky RNG. (Grabbing a faction mod 1 out of 100 team burners.)

Not complaining - just curious.

You were a bit unlucky there, but congrats on getting your first drop!

You can expect a Faction drop from 1 in every 20 Agent or Team burner. It used to be twice that rate, but I think CCP flipped a switch by accident in one of their patches in February/March 2017 and no one's run rigorous-enough statistics beforehand to compare with what we get now to yell at them.

Teams do not drop faction ammo (unlike agents and bases) so when you roll a faction drop it's always going to be a module. However, that module can still be something pathetic like, say, an EM armor plate. But when it's something good you'll be very happy you checked that wreck.

Usually I make off with around 200 mil in loot per 100 Teams I run, most of that isk coming from two or three particularly valuable drops like faction scrams/webs or gyros/mags/heatsinks. The Hawk and Jaguar are pretty much the most exciting Teams for loot, followed by the Enyo. The Vengeance is kind of trash.

Thanks much - this is great for reference. I'll pay it forward and keep track of how often I get faction stuff in my burner drops.

In this case I believe it was an Imperial Navy armor explosive hardener.

It's a good start, and you will eventually hit a Jackpot drop if you keep looting. Statistically, you will be making more isk/hr by spending the time to loot vs. ignoring the wrecks and moving on, so you should keep looting :)

1 in 100 sounds low, I wouldn't be surprised to hear they nerfed the drop rate though, because it does feel a bit lower than what It used to be. A lot of the drops are the cheap armor platings, shield resist amps, or hardeners. Sometimes a faction gun/launcher, and typically the best is a faction damage mod.

I've never kept any sort of log though.

I got a federation navy tracking computer today :)

and 1 in 100 sounds really low. I did not calculated it, but my impression is about 1 over-million drop (including some meta modules and tags) in 10-15.
The best ones I've got in these three days are that tracking computer, a fed navy lignt neutron blaster and a worm bpc.

That is from the Guristas Anomic Agent, actually. Pirate ship BPCs can drop from Agents and Bases, but they are very rare.

Teams don't drop faction ship BPCs, but I think they more than make up for that by not dropping faction ammo when they roll a Faction drop. Again, my statistics suggest the chance of a faction drop is 1 in 20, the original poster was just very unlucky.

Do bases ever drop cruiser BPC?

Yes.Over the past year I've gotten 5 Cynabal BPCs from the Clone Transport in the Angel Base mission (and also a few Dramriel BPCs from the Dramriel Escorts), and two Ashimmu BPCs from the Burner Ashimmu in the Blood base. I have personally never gotten a Vigilant BPC from the Serpentis Base Burner Talos, but someone else in my group did once.

I can't say anything about the Guristas Base since it's an awful mission and I never run it.
