Hey guys,
I mostly use a Venture for mining and I want to make better use of it. Which skills will help me with that?

- Thanks

I only took gas harvesters to V and the mining frig to IV. Ninja Gas huffing in Wormholes for the win!

Mining will help. If you plan to continue ore or ice mining throughout your career, going up to Mining V is worthwhile.
Astrogeology is another one to get. It's another you'll want to take all the way up to V if you want to be a long term ore miner.

After that, look at what other types of mining you'll want to invest in.

For your ship itself, there are a lot of skills that make your mining experience better. Drone skills, both for protection and mining/salvaging are nice to have.

Electronics/Shield/Capacitor skills help fitting and performance.

Those can get you started and give you time to think about where you want to go.
Personally, I moved from a Venture into Procurer once I had the chance. It's a great next step for you if mining is even going to be a part time thing.
