Just started working toward flying a Carrier on my main toon a little before the nerf. I am still in the process of learning some details while my training queue ticks away. Please forgive me if these are really stupid questions.

1- has the update swung favor from Nid to the Thanatos for the extra HP? Or is speed still king?
2- have fits needed to update (e.g. More drone speed and/or more drone HP... CPU issues for drone rigs, etc)?

Thank you for your response. Any recommended new fittings would be appreciated if they have changed much from the standard passive shield tank set-up. I know I am new to this, and have ~2.5 months to learn some more details.

Both still work fine. I rat in a Thanatos and am keeping my fighters moving constantly with approaches. Around 35M ticks are easy to get.

Thanny fits are easy, dc, repper, tank or drone damage mods, mids are drone speed mods and tracking, and cap or prop, and highs are support units, cyno, or cloak, but definitely a networked sensor array
