bowhead or charon?

Returning after a long break (2plus years) due to health issues..going to mainly run missions in high sec but get the urge to move around time to time.. leaning towards the bowhead as I could put all my ships in without re-rigging them, but the cargo hold seems small? Seems at one time nothing could be in a ships cargo hold outside of ammo...that still true? if so would make hauling any large amount of goods a pain..

Any tips/advice or thoughts on this would help

option a: charon+bowhead
option b: bowhead (not repackaged ships) + DTS (60k m^3)

How many ships are you trying to move? You can fit an assembled battleship in the Charon if you contract it to yourself (requires an alt, which is dumb).

battleship + orca could work t3 gonna be able to refit(hopefully that means remove completely as well) rigs so it and t1 industrial just can be repackaged in orca for the travel.

deep space transport = DTS (impel , bustard, occator, mastodon)
ships able to store up to 60k m^3 if you need something more than the cargo hold of the bowhead

orca is halfway between a freighter and a DTS... and i hate things halfway Cool
but still an option

another option is to use courier contracts, let someone else do the hauling. a few mil/jump and people will move your bs within a few days most of the time.

and when I feel like moving I just buy more ships. now I can just travel ceptor around and have stuff already there.

^This. I have lost a filled Bowhead a couple years back. Nowadays I let other people ship my stuff and take the risk. It's hardly worth it to do it yourself.
