Im new to Eve, so far really enjoying the game.
I have managed to pick out a Battle Cruiser and got a rough idea of a fit i would like.
So i am currently training all my skills to be able to use the T2 varients of the modules

The overall ISK cost doesnt bother me as i have plenty of time to farm that as my training is going to take nearly 40days
Now i understand that the training is an integeral part of the game.
But my question is,

Is it worth Buying skill injectors to speed up this process??
If so, What is the best or even most viable way for a new player to farm that much ISK ??
Or is it best to just wait out the 40d training and do what i can

The first question is do you know what you want to do with it? Do you know how to properly fly it otherwise you'll be sporting a set of golden training wheels while you learn how to play EVE.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Ive got a couple of friends teaching me :)
Currently just flying a cruiser (Omen) and using Medium Pulse lasers to get a feel for the type of combat.

AS i said ive got currently over a month before i will be flying the Battlecruiser.
Just wondering if it is viable and worthwhile grinding ISK to get skill Boosters

Also any advice on how to fly a ship is greatly appreciated :)

Only you can answer if it's worth it. Keep in mind that many of us have gone 10 or more years without ever injecting a skill and have done just fine.

A browse through the forum will give you some ideas for farming ISKies. I'd suggest the New Players Q&A as that question gets asked and answered a lot over there.

One plus of waiting the forty days is that it will give you time to get used to New Eden and many of the bad things that can happen to you once you undock. But again, it's up to you.

Skill injectors are still relatively new, yes. It really depends if you want to go for it and invest in them. They do offer a nice boost to get going with what you want to do and reduce the time needed. It's really up to you in the end. Not much help, sorry.

The most fun I have is in T1 frigs. Even after 10 years.
If you have a specific idea for a BC then go ahead and short cut the wait, but don't go bigger just because it's bigger.

No.

Learn how to properly operate the hull using the Meta variants. The time involved in the train is there on purpose.
