Foreman link aggression?

So I have come back to EVE recently. Learned trial and error about changes to foreman links (charges!?..WTF?). But I get it together and take out my miners and my Orca pilot to start Happily mining away. When to my surprise and almost downright panic. My Orca pilot gets slapped with a red aggression timer! We were in fleet to btw.

So what gives? What am I doing wrong? Or was this an intended change?

It's intended.

An aggression timer just prevents you from docking or taking a gate. It is to prevent you from siting on a station and boosting things at no risk and docking if something shows up to fight you. It is not a suspect or criminal timer that allows people to shoot you with no CONCORD response or other penalty.

So practically it means nothing other than you have to stop boosting for at least a minute before you can dock and drop off your ore or take a gate. The flag does not allow anyone to attack you that couldn't already before.

Cool. Makes sense. Thanks Pedro. Just saw that red timer and freaked out a little.
