I am thinking to get back into the game after some years absence. However, i have a question on the new gametime/subscriptions.

I found out that normal playtime has changed to 'Omega time' and PLEX has changed to 'new PLEX'.

So i get from the difference between Aplha and Omega time. That to fly my carriers, i will need to get Omega time.
And i get that 1 old PLEX now 500 PLEX.

So am i correct to think that 500 PLEX now is 1 month of Omega time. As old PLEX could be exchanged for 30days gametime?

But keep in mind that getting a subscription directly from the Account Management page will be cheaper than PLEX. It's designed that way; PLEX is about $20, monthly subscription starts at $15, goes as low as $10 (if you prepay for a year), and $8 for new Alpha accounts that go to Omega (if CCP is still offering that promotion).

In any case, the cheapest way to get Omega is with a direct subscription. PLEX is useful for auxiliary features like multi-training, respecs, trading, etc.
