EVE Online: Crucible 1.1 Deployment Information

EVE Online: Crucible 1.1 is currently being deployed. Downtime begins at 11:00 UTC and is expected to be completed at 12:00 UTC. For more information about EVE Online: Crucible, please refer to this news item; full patch notes are available here.

We will be updating this thread to keep you informed about the deployment process.

Deployment updates:

11:28 UTC Deployment is well underway and updates are being applied to Tranquility.

11:35 UTC Deployment of updates has taken longer than anticipated but is almost complete. Once this happens, Tranquility will come up in testing mode for approximately 30-40 minutes and another 10 minutes for auto-patch testing. Downtime has been extended to 12:20 UTC.

11:50 UTC Downtime will be extended to 13:05 UTC. The reason for this rather long delay is that we discovered one of the updates was taking 51 minutes to run which was not factored in to our estimations. We are very sorry for this delay and we are working as quickly as possible to get Tranquility up as quickly as possible.

12:50 UTC All updates have been applied and Tranquility is up in testing mode. QA will require 25 minutes testing meaning the server will be up at 13:15 UTC.

12:55 UTC The server is currently experiencing node issues on start up which has resulted in Tranquility going into an invalid state. We are reviewing the logs and will attempt another start up when the problem is identified and fixed. This will lead for a further delay. We will update with a new eta as soon as possible. Once again, please accept our apologies for this unexpected extended downtime.

13:17 UTC Start up is complete and Tranquility is in testing mode. TQ will leave testing mode at approximately 13:40 UTC.

13: 0 UTC Tranquility has had to be taken down so that static copy can be applied. This will require a further reboot and testing time of 25 minutes. New estimated uptime is 14:10 UTC.

Just as well I told the new players in my corp to put on a long skill yesterday. Do you have an incursion bear still stuck on there refusing to log off/

any chance for a rollback? i think many have updated by now, trusting QA. rollback tears best tears :)
