EVE Online: Crucible 1.1 is scheduled for deployment during an extended downtime on Tuesday, January 24. Downtime will begin at 11:00 UTC and is expected to be completed by 12:00 UTC.

you guys really should stop with those time schedules since i never ever had a single extended downtime that had no extended extended downtime and possible emergency server reboots.

those schedules are more of a gamble anyway :)

12:55 UTC The server is currently experiencing node issues on start up which has resulted in Tranquility going into an invalid state. We are reviewing the logs and will attempt another start up when the problem is identified and fixed. This will lead for a further delay. We will update with a new eta as soon as possible. Once again, please accept our apologies for this unexpected extended downtime.

Not loving this.

I am thrilled that you chose to completely ignore all us silly FW people active in the threads, who for once in a blue moon all agreed that adding alliances at this point (ie. while FW is still broken as hell) was a bad idea.
This is statement is misleading. Plenty of us who participate in FW want alliances in .

Next time schedule for a longer down time though, and surprise us by bringing the servers back up earlier! =P

If they do that, some one will press charges on them for illegal usage of CCP trade mark!

I like it. I'll just add 1-2 hours to their estimate.

It's better than having them say, "Servers will be up soon." or "Servers will be back within one week from now."

Damn right you are.

CCP should just write "will take a few hours" or "will take 2-5 hours" and stop embarrassing themselves. Good project managers don't trust estimations of their fellow project members anyway, and estimate times based on previous performance and heuristics. I've some studies at hand but my gut says, nobody wants to read such things here. ;-)

I grow up with the idea ... ETA= ." I dont know.". ...

I am advised to say . we will be down for 4 hours. with a good reason. or explain why and what went wrong if the update/patch/ does not work.
Update every 20 minutes orso ..

In this case there should be a update every 15 minutes

ADD MORE EMPIRE, ADD MORE NULL and please give us Jove space access already :P. All this stuff you keep adding and changing is wasting everyones time. This game was at it's best when it felt vast, i've not felt that since the warp to 0km and increase in server traffic :(.

I agree and have said it many times we need more space that not hogged by Alliances..... space should be vast and we should not be able to control it all..... wheres the barren lands with no stargates...no stations....like wild west

Where WE have to build it all from scratch

When you overhauling corp permissions, its really messy

Lag... like whats going on CCP when i am in a system with only me it lags..... this game is getting slower...time dilation should only kick in when there are oddles of people in system

You need to think outside the box CCP (I hate this term) be the no1 SCI Fi game...Planets that move, Ringworlds, Jump drives that dont need cynos, extend strategic cruiser idea to utility ships ie hauler/ miner/ cyno ship for use in barren space

Owe and can I have either a new form of mining ship or new ore/ mineral...ok I had to ask these PVPers get to much!!!
