Question on multiple accounts

Multiboxing is ok but what about someone mining and then they all are controlled at the same time to target the next asteroid and all that. the orca boosting with it is called Bot control unit. they all have similar names so 100% are all same person.

just like to know if it is allowed to do that

What the Orca or any of the pilots are called doesn't matter.

If you think another player is botting or using software to control multiple clients at the same time, or if you think another player is doing anything which breaks Eve's EULA or ToS. Then file a support itcket about it and let CCP decide, whilst you go on playing your game.

You get bonus points if you shoot all the ships belonging to said player after you file the ticket.

Input automation and input broadcasting are the bits that violate the EULA and TOS - automating a command sequence or sending the same command to multiple instances of the client at the same time, or both. If you are manually controlling all clients independently, multiboxing is OK. Eve is intended to be a game played by humans, not robots.

There used to be mining fleets with 50 or more exhumers - I've watched them strip an ice belt clean in a few minutes. I was not sorry to see that activity go!

No that's not allowed.

Their names don't matter, but the rules are that you can have multiple alts logged in at the same time, but you must control each alt individually, and cannot use any method (software, programmable gamepad, etc.) to control all of them at once.

If you think someone is botting or breaking the rules, create a petition / support ticket.

After that, though, you either ignore them and let CCP catch them in their own time, or you can take PVP action against them, but the high-sec combat flags or whatever PVP game mechanics still apply.

There are PVP'ers out there looking to stick it to botters, you can probably get a rather large fleet if you mention you're trying to disrupt botters.

As everyone else has stated, input manipulation (using bots) is against the EULA and TOS. Please file a new support ticket to let the Game Masters know. Give them any information that you believe will help including:

  • Character Names
  • System/s Name
  • Date/Time (Use Eve Time)
  • What makes you believe they are botting
  • Screenshots if you have any.

How are you positively aware that this is the case?

I can manually tab between my alts fast enough to move them all to the next available locked target within a couple seconds max. With latency on your end this could easily appear simultaneous. I've also known quite a few other people running large alt fleets manually that chose to name all the alts with a structure similar to what was mentioned in your post (personally I think it looks kind of lame but to each their own?)

Unless you have some reason not mentioned in your OP that would indicate botting is going on, none of the above is real proof of misconduct. Report it so CCP can sort out what's going on, enjoy the easy gank that multiboxers provide, and move on.
