I'm doubtful it will ever happen on these official forums again because CCP doesn't want to have to police the content of every image which would have to be done manually.

And how do you think they police the forum posts?Big smile

I see no images as long as people may be able to inject code with them.
Maybe if we can upload them served from a CCP approved place, who knows?

Since when has anyone here shown any tendency to be able to trust with posting images?

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

very unlikely

a site served via https (which is a good thing) cannot just include content from other domains (without SSL cert)
(it can technically but the user will be scared by nasty warning messages)

I am sure there are possible workarounds (ccp passing images from other domains through a proxy of their own) but given the required :effort: to implement sth like this and the benefit of having a "clean" looking forum without images I doubt we will get them.
