Hey there,

I had an old account of mine reactived that was from before the alpha/omega introduction. I see this account is now in Alpha state. I cannot try the next few days thats why i am asking:

Can i login to this account/character and send ISKs to my new character without paying subscription/omega for it?
Can i login to this account/character and extract skills without paying subscription/omega for it?

For more details, your characters on the Alpha account will be limited to the Alpha skills / able to fly only the Alpha ships.

Part of this limitation is that Alphas can only have 1 contract, which makes transferring items somewhat of a pain (you have to create your private item exchange contract addressed to your other character, then log in with the other character and take the contract right away, to free up the 1 contract slot).

ISK is much easier to transfer, as you just search for the name of your main and right click then Give Money To... Items and ships you'll be limited to the one item exchange contract, and will have to keep logging in and out to create and accept the contract, which is a pain because no other accounts can be logged in at the same time as an Alpha account.

Also, even if you don't want the character, it doesn't cost anything to train up the Alpha skills on it; it's free. The set of Alpha skills gives you a decently useful alt, actually; you can scout with it, you can check prices at the trade hubs, and you can have a (relatively small) transport ship to carry junk around if you need to. And, perhaps more importantly, CCP sometimes gives free gifts to everyone, or to Alphas, etc., esp. at Christmas / New Year, so keep the account / characters.
