CCP, just FYI 15% off isn't enough.

The problem with discounts from the vendors perspective is that it sets an expectation in customers mind. I waited what seemed like 6 months for the last 15% off Plex sale. If they offered 20-25% off then I always be waiting for that sale to buy.

The best deals I think I got on Eve was an Amazon yearly subscription one Christmas, and the year subscription with free 3 month MCT bonus.

So CODE is now coming to the forums looking for handouts? Gotten that cheap have they?Roll

Getting 15% off for doing what you normal would do is a pretty good reward. Or.... if you think 15% isnt much Ill buy ALL of CODES ill gotten gains for -15% under jita buy prices..... think that should put it into perspective.Twisted

Sheesh, people pay billions for fits of mods that get less the 15% boost, but right if ships are costing too much maybe just maybe it could be Roll that code is actually having an impact...

Yeah, I don't pay for my catalysts, so I'm not worried about ship prices. I just like to occasionally treat myself to a new skirt for my space Barbie and what have you. Big smile

How about getting the ISK you need in game? Is this out of your reach?

I can't recall them ever discounting more than 15% off of PLEX, can we get any corroboration on this? Has CCP ever offered 25% off PLEX?

I got a plex or two for $15 as part of a returning player deal at some point, might have been a 2 for $30 deal? think that was the best discount I've seen, but it was very limited in scope.

Well, I suppose I could try to make the ISK in game, but I've never done that before, and honestly wouldn't know where to start. My game time is also limited, so when I do get a chance to log in, I definitely don't want to spend my time on some PVE activity or whatever.

Well you could loot your kills and sell that which would tack in easily on your PvP shenanigans.

And I don't like to spend time watching over my shoulder and jetting out every time I mine. But I still have to. HTFU?

Or, third idea, I could just buy PLEX like I currently do and leave the grinding to the carebears?

Who said there was a problem? I think maybe you need to read back over the OP.

There are three consistent types of shmuck in forums and comments sections:

A) those without any sense of humor

B) those who cannot or will not read with thorough comprehension of the text

C) those who see every comment, post or article as their opportunity to talk about what they want rather than the topic at hand

It was a joke about the low risk and easy targets.

(It probably sounds stupid if you don't notice the parallels so don't worry yourself)

Yeah, PVP is a pretty straight forward and self defining term if you don't over think it.

Edit: "Low risk and easy targets" hmm, interesting.

Now imagine you said that to a fisherman.

I recall PLEX sales through Steam, pre nu-PLEX, that were 25% off. I agree, though. 15% isn't enough to get me to purchase 500 or 1100, either. 20%-25% and then I'd drop $100 on PLEX.

'Till then, nullbearing for ISK it is.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

Want to make New Eden a nice place? Try this out.
