I invited a few Buddy accounts.

They never activated their accounts.

How do i expel them?

It says the member must do it, but they are no longer active and never will be???

From my corporation...forgot that sorry

I am the CO and I cant expel nonactive members (I think).

They were temps and will never be played.

If I recall, you need to first remove rights and roles. Wait 24 hours and then you can expel them.

That's correct, make sure they've got no roles / titles with the corp, wait 24 hours and you can right-click their name on members list and expel

If I could ask you one more question…..

How do I do that?

I am a noob at this. I am acting CEO for my friend’s Corp while he is inactive.

I know I go into the Corp button.

I click on the members tab.

After that, it gets a bit fuzzy. Ugh

When in doubt, right-click. In this case, right-click the member's name.

You are not trying to do this on the character you are posting with, right? The one in Imperial Academy, an NPC corporation?

If you're the CEO, or Director, you should be able to right click the members name and expel member at the bottom of the pop-up list, if you don't have those options, then either you're not CEO or Director or some other title that gives you permission to expel members, or something screwy is going on, do you get the option to Edit Member?

It's not because the member might have roles, as you still get the option displayed even if they can't be expelled due to roles. I'm logged in at the moment, and I get them for members, even members that are on inactive accounts.

If there's still a problem, then either bug report, or if it's urgent that you need the members out due to number requirements, then put a petition in and see what they say.

I'm impressed at how rapidly you've grasped the intricacies of corp management - it's a horrid interface...


But yeah - right click -> Expel member. It's that simple, if they have roles that prevent it from happening you will be notified. If you cannot do it then as Emma has explained it's because you don't have the rights to expel people from the corp (CEO or Director roles)
