I actually was here AND after all these years thought CCP would have gotten better at maintaining the game that pays their wages and is used to fund fail after fail "projects".

My opinions are mine.

It really is getting harder and harder to justify $23 a month for each sub.

Downtime is stated to be 11:00-11:15, so you should never really commit to doing anything until after that time, as a second reboot can take place.

In this instance, there was an issue right after startup, but now things are looking all good, hopefully we'll be fine!

It's not looking good here at all, character select screen does open (partially), but can't get any further than that. And yes, it's so not 11:15.

Open ≡ menu in right upper corner in launcher window, select "shared cache" and then click "verify". Launch game and see if it worked.

You are quite right of course. I just tried to steal a quick 5 minutes and hubris punished me. Still, all's well that ends well and my ship and drones are safe and sound back in good old 1955.
