Hello! I need some help to choose my next ratting ship. I want to skip rattlesnake or ishtar, I am looking for a carrier or a dreadnought.

I wonder if a dread like naglfar, now that the fighters suffer a nerf, is viable to do a decent ratting work. I know that maybe the carrier is still the best option, but if a go for a naglfar I can be in my alliance capital ship and thats something i would like a lot. I mean, is it possible to do a decent ratting in naglfar? how much isk I will be loosing in comparison with a carrier?

Nag is great for ratting. Fit it with a prop mod so you can get range as necessary.

A good carrier fit can pull 38M ticks before taxes. I'm making about 102M per hour including warp times. The carrier need just made you have to be more active but 100M an hour with carrier 3 and fighters 3 isn't bad.
