Wormholes

Hello all,

After being out of game for a while I am trying to ninja solo C5 wormhole relic and data sites as per this video,

The mechanics of the thing work fine and I can kill and tank etc without too much difficulty, however the loot is the thing I am writing about.

I have tried this three times now (doing the Forgotten Core Data Field and Unsecured Frontier Server Bank sites) and each time the loot was appallingly bad. I am thinking it was around 100mill max per site including sleeper loot (really I feel it was more like 70m or so). The video however says loot should be 200-300 and up to 500m a site.

So my question is --- was I unlucky with my first efforts or has the price of the loot tanked since Nov 2016 (when the video was made)? Or is it something else? I have very little WH experience so perhaps these sites vary according to the type of C5 they are in?

I can understand the loot being variable but in my short experience the data cans were ALL datacores and the relic cans all those sleeper hull/defence items (huge volume as well which fills the ship up). Most of the cans were practically worthless -- especially the datacore sites. The only good can really is the Talocan Battleship plus perhaps one other can then the sleeper loot.

I mean seriously ... you spend about 450m on the ship setup and need pretty high skills then are doing tough hacks and dealing with C5 level sleepers for 70-100m a go? :D

This is a class 5 WH so I am quite surprised that it was so poor/bad in terms of risk/reward.

OK, so that method does not involve killing all of The NPCs. NPC blue loot is where all of the ISK is in these sites.

Site drops
1.A standard site has ~250-300mil in blue loot. This is a static drop and does not change.
2.After that you ge Salvage but with Nanoribbons being so cheap these days i would not expect much more than 20-30mil per site (That includes killing everything, which you do not)
3. Standard data and relic cans are almost worthless these days, K space Data and relics are worth way more (I know K space Data are not worth much but Whs are worth less). In the C5 Server bank there is 1 can (Talcon) that can drop Hulls, the small ones can be worth a bit but I would still not expect much more than $50mil per can (you can get luck and get more).



If you deal with the whole site you would risk way more than 450mil (The fleet I roll with is over 3 bil) for a payout of 500mil (drifter included) so as a % it seems about right.

Personally I would just hit the Data Bank for the Talcon

Is it still possible to do c5 data/relics solo in stratios? My friend went on sisi to check, but he couldnt passive tank them. Only way to tank the 1st wave was dual rep, with large cap batterys and cap rechargers, but the dps was kinda low and he lost many drones.

How it looks compare to lower class wh like c4 or c3 in terms of soloing it with stratios and est. loot?

Skip them always except for the Talocan can.

Way better off running sites fully in a C3 solo or team up n run C4s. If u really want to do the 'Stratios looting C5 cans' thing, scan them down, but only run the ones w/talocan cans. Cancancan. Then move to the next site/hole.
