Lately there seems to be some dissatisfaction among some player groups with the way CCP and some of its employees run the Eve Universe. This can often be seen in the general tone and direction of a lot of comments posted in reply each week to the weekly "This week in Eve" overview. However, I personally believe that CCP and the vast majority of all of its employees do their very best to keep the Eve Universe running as smoothly as possible for all of us to enjoy. And this also includes doing their very best to fix most of the pressing issues in Eve that seem to frustrate some players. From a logical standpoint, does it make much sense for a corporation to intentionally sabotage its products or services or to not do its very best to keep as many of their customers as happy as humanly possible? Also, what seems to be a problem for one group of players may actually seem to be a solution to another group of players.

For those pilots who suspect that CCP routinely fails, either intentionally or through sheer incompetence, in trying to do the best job humanly possible in keeping Eve running smoothly, please realize that we, as customers, only see the end result of their labors. We do not know most of the details and the actual process that is constantly needed to provide a playable Eve Universe to us. The complexity of most modern MMORPG's is astounding and successful games such as Eve just keep getting more and more complex as each year passes. All of us as customers demand this. Many MMORPG's that are not evolving and changing to keep up with the needs and demands of players are failing and shutting down their servers while the Eve Universe keeps spinning.

It seems fairly easy to hate and demand more and more perfection from an incredibly complex software product that just keeps getting more complicated and intricate as each year passes. Eve Online is now almost impossible for any one person to understand in its sheer size and in all its entangled details. I believe that praise and commendation is rightfully due to CCP and to most of its employees for the amazing thing that they have all been able to achieve as a team. And I really think that the Eve Universe speaks for itself for anyone who simply wants to enter and listen.

You disussed with CSM about ghost training. Why? This exploit was reported for months. Clusterf**k summer is coming CCP. You cannot hide bad decisons behind pointless discussions with CSM. CSM was created to help you balance the game. Involving them into this make them looks bad as well because there is nothing to discuss. Exploit is an exploit.

By the way, did you know that the stargates in EVE were constructed in binary star systems? Only in those systems, the gravitational topology allowed for constructing these stargates.

Here is the relevant article from the fiction portal:

Now, guess what!

A recent research article discovered that most stars are born as twins:

Let's build some stargates!

Lets build Custom Office first. Orbital elevator, plasma powered planet-space rockets. Whatever will be not as costly as our current Earth-space planetary launches. We will greatly appreciate if you will write someting prophetic about this theme.

I, for one, appreciate what you are doing CCP in providing a MMO for us to play. I enjoy logging in and playing the game. If it isn't fun for you anymore, please send all your isk and stuff to me and uninstall.

Kudos to all of those that contributed to the EVEathon including many CCP employees. It was nice to talk to CCP_Falcon and CCP_leeloo AFTER work hours on their own time in the Twitch chat.

It helped me personally try to connect with CCP employees and see them as people trying very hard to make us happy. It can't be easy for them with the office politics. "Between a rock and a hard place" seems to be the best description. CCP will never get a free pass from me, but I will give credit when credit is due.

Out of curiosity, if every system with a stargate is a binary system, why do all the systems with stargates only have one sun?

About half of the Binary systems in the Milky Way have the partner star about 1000 AU or more away from the other star. I have not seen a system in EVE with anything listed that far away, so they are defenitely "Off Grid".

BTW, thank you for all the hard work CCP.
