Can You Fly Above A Sun?

Is it possible to warp to a sun and the proceed to fly above and on top of it?

I'm searching for a place to drop a Citadel. Big smile

Generally faster to just use a slow-warping ship and bookmarks.

interesting idea... tell me wen you end to fly arround a red giant sun (or better a Blue star) for several days and get the perfect bookmark .. and email me the cordinates to go for visit this colosal thing.

the CCP now are improve to the future versions of EVE more visual enhacements to the Graphics in special to the Stars..

This may be slightly off topic, but I love flying next to a sun. Occasionally I get to un-dock to check something and I usually visit a sun even if it is just for a moment.

To warp to a sun:

  1. Find it on your overview
  2. Right click
  3. Select warp to 0.


When you land you are as close to a sun as the game will place you, you can of course double click in space to fly closer to it.
