Seriously the theft of wrecks is unreal in terms of ownership being whoever gets the killing blow instead of working for it and I cant do anything about it. Needs a fix before any other even takes place plus te reward of very minor ammount of plex makes people greedy and aggressive in a bad way. Seems out of wack

Most likely because the value of the items is stupidly broken.

51b in items from 1 site in hisec. And dude wasn't even done.

At this point, I'm fairly certain they're trying to kill this game off.

The KB/ estimation value takes time to update, actual ingame value is not broken and those skins are worth 0-20 mil.

My only gripe with this event is all sec status'es getting the same content and rewards. Titan skins should drop in null, after warping in a capital and defeating an escalation (for example).

Confirmed.

Couldn't price 2 Skins (Avatar & Archon), but all the rest tallied up to @46M isk.

Of course they are now, because the market was flooded. The price crashing doesn't lessen the economic impact, it was an inevitable consequence. Anyone who had buy orders up the night before got screwed, and ultimately so did CCP because cosmetic microtransactions.

I doubt you'll see anyone publicly saying oops, but I've run a few events myself where drop rates were severely underestimated. It's actually pretty easy to screw up. Someone picks a percentage that seems low without running the numbers, and in an instant the server has more skins than potatoes.

It's a very likely scenario based on other recent 'oops' moments like the botched script that paused skill training for paying subscribers instead of ghost trainers, and accidentally rewarding everyone who ghost trained with hundreds of pacifiers and enforcers worth billions, I'm sure several devs have been taken to the woodshed about being so careless.

But at this point, after giving a pass to everyone who exploited billions of SP for sale and self-injection, then handing them collectively trillions more isk, and THEN crashing an entire corner of the market, the integrity of the game is beyond redemption. The average player has no reason to participate in the game's content when he could spend years farming and still never achieve a fraction of the buying power the exploiters gained in the past 6 months and now hold with impunity.

Getting stuff blown up or stolen you worked hard for is quite typical in EVE. It happens when you bring your blue WH loot out, when you collect you PI goods from a custom office, when your explo frig get's caught, when hauling anything anywhere, when someone blobs your ratting ship etc.

And in all those cases it your own fault, like it is with this event too. Get better, team up, bait them into traps.
