Shift drag will split a single stack. If multiple stacks are selected shift-drag should split all of them.

This would be kind of a headache to implement in the UI since the current single basic split popup doesn't support it, and couldn't be reused for something like this.

Would make redistributing my PI items easier. I always fly out all the indy ships, deliver everything to one, split the four P1s into even stacks, and deliver the stacks back to the PI toons.

That said, it's not that much work; I'd rather dev time be focused on fixing stuff over adding this, personally.

Multibuy is relatively new as well. Perhaps most of that code could be re-used, for a multisplit?

Bundle that in with splitting favorites, so people can build packages of stuff, for whatever application? PI, weapon/ammo packs, whatever else.

Might be a nice QoL addon. I never really ran into a need for it myself, but I can see how it could be useful to someone.

Details of how to engineer it would have to be worked out, but that's a dev job. But being able to do it at all sounds reasonable, even if it is as simple as using the same interface and splits off the same number of units from each stack. Usage scenarios might be fairly limited regardless how sophisticated it ends up, but it it seems like something that should be possible. Scenario I'm thinking of is "I need 1000 units of each ammo."
