If I want to join a corp in nullsec- like Brave newbies- should I rather be gallente or caldari.
A lot of players say that gallente is better for PvE and Caldari is good for PvP.
But if I join a corp there will probably be PvP too.
Can you please advise.
Thanks.

Almost all the newbro friendly alliances have alpha clone skill plans. It is more about what "you" want to do. My personal favorite for an alpha is Gallente.

Tristan, algos and Vexor are all sold pve and pvp ships. The T1 industrials are by far better and if you really want a bigger ship you can get a gnosis. ( all races can fly this)

All of those platforms make great salvager toons which you will likely be doing as a new alpha in null.
