I followed the instructions in the wiki, going into the config file in /Users/"your login name"/Library/Preferences/EVE Online Preferences/config
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Jukebox#OS_X_Instructions

added drive 'm' then when I start eve and load up jukebox drive m is not there, was able to find the files through drive 'g' (I think), seems to work well but when I try to play it, it seems like the first second of the song is being repeated (or some other problem) forever, and pressing stop on the jukebox control doesn't stop the sound and adjusting the volume on the jukebox didn't seem to make it any quieter

yes the files are in .mp3 format

any help will be appreciated, really want to listen to my own music in game

I've done everything int he wiki, and i CAN find the m:\ and all my music. but once i get the music loaded, the first sound repeats forever. pressing pause doesn't do anything. and then the client crashes.

Yea, welcome to the Mac client, in short... it does not work. The Jukebox will not play your own MP3's on the Mac, even though it works fine on the PC. This has been a pet peeve of mine for years. It has something to do with cider translation I think, and a lot to do with CCP not really giving a crap about the Mac client or it's users.

For now if you want your own music you have to turn down the Eve music and use itunes. If you would like to wait for a fix though good luck with that it took them almost two years to get the Jukebox just to play the Eve music right for Mac users (and they still didn't get it completely right).
