Faction War: Cannot Join

I have an Gallente alt that is trying to join the Caldari side in FW but keeps getting this message:

"You can not join the faction for the following reason: You are not regarded highly enough by the faction. Your standing with the faction is only 0.0000 but needs to be at least 0.00."

That pilot's standing with the Caldari Navy is 0.06 (natural) so it should be fine....no?

What gives? Why can't he join?

Caldari State not Caldari Navy. Corporation standings is different from faction standings.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

your faction standing is being rounded up, it is probabably -0.001 or something, just finish one Caldari Career agent chain and it should let you join, or just join a corp that has positive standing.

Thanks...I'm trying the 16 mission then get a special mission route....if that fails I'll try yuor suggestion...

instead ot 16 distribution missions you can do 10 tutorial miossions and get your standing.
