Isk sink idea (if it's such a problem)

Give each NPC corporation with stations in new eden their own "home" skin.
This skin would either be market seeded or available through LP store.
bought with isk (not aurum) and potentially LP (through LP store.)

Can only be gained through these NPC corps and some of them would be pirate factions in nullsec (allowing for market profits by moving to trade hubs)

Roll

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

Fully supported.

UI Improvement Collective

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Skins are a buy-once thing.

Even if you made them 5 billion isk each, it would collectively take an almost infinitesimally small amount of isk out of the game.

What Old Pervert said, this doesn't work as a significant ISK sink since it's a once and done thing. On top of that it would heavily compete with Skins released through the NEX store and sold for real money.

The problem with Carrier Ratting right now isn't just the raw amount of ISK entering the economy it's also how heavily concentrated that ISK is in one group of players. This creates an outsized bubble of wealth that threatens to drive prices up for everyone else. So the game becomes "Carrier rat or go home"-Online. Thus if the problem were to be solved with some kind of sink it would pretty much have to be one targeted at Null players or groups, and that's extremely difficult to do, so simply nerfing the income is going to be generally preferable from a balance standpoint.

I see a bounty based on ship used, would be a lot of code unless you perhaps did it by ship size, ie: carrier gets 50% base bounty of anything, BS gets more and so on for ships less than the size of the shooting ship, I'm sure someone could take this and run with it. I rat in a rattlesnake right now, working up to carrier in spite of nerfs cause why not?

The problem is not ISK sinks, it is the sources, one of them has turned into a fire hose vs. a faucet. Instead of trying to micro-manage ISK faucets (which incidentally punishes those not causing the problem) is much more difficult than simply fixing the actual problem.

Your kitchen sink has blown up and it is spewing water everywhere. Your solution is to dig a trench to the curb so the water can drain away vs. shutting off the water, fixing the sink and then turning the water back on?

Honestly I'd equate the quoted solution as being putting a bucket under the pipe to catch some of the water. Once you own a skin, you don't need to buy it again. A trench will continue to let water drain (even if it is a stupid idea lol).
