Given it's description, " A natural phenomena that rumour says will hurtle those that come too close to faraway places. Wary travelers stay away from them as some that have ventured too close have never been seen again."

Make it actually do this.
It'd be funny, or just really cruel.
Set that at any given time of it's existence, area of effect also variable and changing, it'll dump your ship in a random system.

One way trip, no warning.
